“Armenia is implementing a militarization program. One of the leading forces behind it is France, a member country of the European Union and NATO. Unfortunately, France, despite its international obligations, is participating in Armenia's armament program,” said Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, to journalists.
“The process of codification of international relations began after World War II. Following this, only a few countries committed acts of occupation and aggression. Armenia is one of the countries that committed such crimes. In this regard, Armenia's armament should be carried out within the parameters of responsibility. The provision of lethal and offensive weapons to Armenia, particularly by France, is a serious concern. Armenia is armed not only by France but also by other countries,” Hikmet Hajiyev added.
