The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has commended the outcomes of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, held in Azerbaijan. This was stated by Olexandr Mischenko, the Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a meeting with Seymur Mardaliyev, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Ukraine.

During the meeting, the Ukrainian Deputy Minister praised Azerbaijan's exemplary organization of COP29 and the successful outcomes achieved.

The parties also highlighted the importance of high-level contacts between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, particularly between their foreign policy departments. They discussed cooperation within international organizations and reaffirmed their mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both nations.

Additionally, they exchanged views on key areas of bilateral collaboration in all domains of mutual interest. Seymur Mardaliyev emphasized Azerbaijan’s commitment to increasing aid to Ukraine and strengthening collaboration between Kyiv and Baku.
