“Azerbaijan’s hosting of COP29 is a testament of the country’s success in reaching new heights in advancing the global agenda of maintaining environmental balance,” Valeriu Kiver, Ambassador of Moldova to Ukraine, told AZERTAC.
"The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) is undoubtedly a global event. The fact that many heads of state and environmental ministers of most countries will gather in Baku this year to discuss this issue once again proves Azerbaijan’s international credibility. I am confident that thanks to the measures taken by the country's leadership and government, the conference would succeed," the Moldovan diplomat added.
