Georgian PM stresses importance of deepening relations with Azerbaijan

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has emphasized the importance of further deepening relations with Azerbaijan while presenting the election program of the ruling party "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia," Report informs.

He also named resolving the conflict with Russia as a priority.

"Pragmatic policy and peaceful resolution of the conflict with Russia are also one of the most important priorities," Kobakhidze noted.

Speaking about the authorities' foreign policy plans for the next four years, Kobakhidze called the "reset of relations with the US and the European Union" a "crucial national task."

The prime minister also indicated deepening relations with NATO and strategic partnership with China as priority tasks. He also stated the importance of further deepening relations with neighboring Armenia and Türkiye.
