Foreign diplomats view construction of settlement, educational complex in Azerbaijan's Kalbajar

Foreign diplomats, military attachés, and heads of international organizations accredited in Azerbaijan visited the Kalbajar region to observe the ongoing construction of a new settlement and an urban educational complex.

According to Report, the guests were provided with detailed information about the ambitious project.

The educational complex, spanning over 2.2 hectares, will feature an 80-seat kindergarten, professional workshops, a STEAM zone, a preschool preparation area, and other essential facilities. Additionally, a school with a capacity of 528 students is being built within the complex.

The representatives of the diplomatic corps were informed that the new settlement would be equipped with all the necessary infrastructure to facilitate the return of former internally displaced persons (IDPs).

On September 2, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva personally inspected the progress of the work being carried out at the Kalbajar City Educational Complex.
