Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the UK Elin Suleymanov discussed preparation for COP29 with Lord Mayor of London Michael Mainelli, the diplomat wrote on his social network X, Report informs.
“Grateful to the Lord Mayor of London Michael Mainelli for his warm welcome and for kindly inviting me speak at NZDS24. Appreciate Lord Mayor's valuable insights as Azerbaijan prepares for COP29 and look forward to working with colleagues from the City of London to support making our world greener,” the ambassador stated.
“Honored to join distinguished speakers at Net Zero Delivery Summit NZDS24 at Mansion House. Thank you Lord Mayor of London Michael Mainelli and London City for your invitation to this important conference to set out Azerbaijan's perspective for COP29! Let's keep 1.5 within reach,” he added.
