The Azerbaijani Embassy in Lebanon arranged an event marking the 101st anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The embassy staff visited the park named after the National Leader in Ebba district of Nabatieh Governorate of Lebanon.
The event attended by the chairman of Ebba municipality, employees of the embassy, representatives of the Lebanon-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, as well as representatives of the local community.
Addressing the event, Ambassador Samad Hasanov highlighted the exceptional services of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the restoration of Azerbaijani statehood. He emphasized that Heydar Aliyev's personal relations with former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri laid the foundation for cooperation between the two countries.
