Farid Shafiyev: Consortium of specialists from nations including Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia established

An international consortium of specialists from nations including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia has been established. The consortium engages in regular dialogues and analytical sessions, said Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), Report informs.

During a press briefing for the upcoming event themed “Protection of Diversity: Combatting Islamophobia in 2024”, Shafiyev highlighted the significance of such conferences in fostering these expert networks.

“Our goal is to form an informal assembly of scholars that, in various capacities, represent Azerbaijan’s interests. This assembly has already convened in Baku last year and is scheduled to reconvene this year,” he stated.

The “Protection of Diversity: Combatting Islamophobia in 2024” conference is set to take place in Baku on March 8-9.
