The international conference on "Decolonization: Awakening of the Renaissance", organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG) in Istanbul, has continued with panel meetings.

The panels featured discussions on the themes "Impacts of colonization on national identity" and "The artificial legal barriers imposed by the French government during the renaissance-era decolonization”.

The discussions covered a range of topics, including the impacts of colonialism on national identity, the creation of artificial legal barriers by the French government, ethnic and cultural discrimination in these regions, political instability, conflicts, social and economic challenges, media harassment, arbitrary arrests, security, migration, borders, national resources and property, human rights and justice, and citizenship.

The conference welcomed 50 representatives from 13 countries and four international organizations, including delegates from French colonies such as New Caledonia, French Polynesia, French Guiana, Martinique, and Guadeloupe.
