The “Journey to Azerbaijan” photo exhibition was opened at Sofia Cinema House, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Bulgaria Huseyn Huseynov said on X, Report informs.
“I was honored to open Azerbaijani Movie Night within Sofia MENAR International Film Festival and brief the audience about the great cultural heritage, old traditions and multicultural richness of Azerbaijan. It was also a pleasure to join the opening of ‘Journey to Azerbaijan’ photo exhibition at Sofia Cinema House,” he said.
“Authored by Bulgarian photographer Arslan Ahmadov, the exhibition spotlights 23 landscapes and portraits taken in a black-and-white format at various hard-to-reach areas of Azerbaijan where raw natural beauty dominates and the locals enjoy their old traditions, own language and the ancient way of life,” the diplomat noted.
