US political scientist Brenda Shaffer spoke out against the story aired on the Voice of America television and radio station about the wife of Tale Baghirzada, the head of the illegal Muslim Unity Movement, who was convicted of murder and riots, according to Report.
"US tax-payer sponsored VOA advocates for Iran sponsored movement that has committed terrorist acts in Azerbaijan," Professor of Naval Postgraduate School (US) and member of the American Political Science Association Brenda Shaffer said on the social network X.
