Azerbaijani foreign minister confirms importance of ceasefire in Gaza
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with his Palestinian counterpart Riyadh al-Maliki, Report informs, citing the Foreign Ministry's post on the social network X.
The meeting took place within the framework of the working visit of the Azerbaijani minister to Uganda.
The parties discussed the latest developments in the field of regional and international security, cooperation between Azerbaijan and Palestine.
On his account on X, Jeyhun Bayramov noted that during a meeting with al-Maliki, he confirmed the importance of a ceasefire in Gaza and Azerbaijan’s support for a fair solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in accordance with international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
