At the extraordinary congress of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (CTU), a proposal was put forward to support the candidacy of Ilham Aliyev for the post of president in the upcoming snap elections, Report informs.
The proposal was voiced by the CTU Chairman Sattar Mohbaliyev.
The congress participants unanimously supported the proposal.
Extraordinary presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan on February 7, 2024.
