Armenian MFA official preparing ground for disrupting meetings without mediators

Some issues in the negotiations with Azerbaijan need mediators, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Mnasakan Safaryan, said in an interview with journalists in the parliament on November 23, Report informs via Aysor.

According to him, it is important to have international mechanisms on some issues: “There are other issues where guarantees are important.”

Safaryan doesn't hide the fact that they are doing tricks with this revelation. Describing the repatriation of Western Azerbaijanis who were expelled from Armenia and forcibly deprived of their citizenship as a "non-constructive approach", the deputy minister considers it important to discuss the issue of Armenian residents who migrated from Karabakh with the participation of a third party. This means that official Yerevan is laying the groundwork for prospectively disrupting one-on-one, direct meetings.
