Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev met with the Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Guo Min, XQ informs.
At the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the successful development of friendly Azerbaijani-Chinese relations and cooperation in political, trade-economic, transport-logistics, energy, agricultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
They also emphasized the importance of continuing mutually beneficial cooperation in the transport and transit sector, in particular the joint promotion of the Belt and Road initiative, as well as the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. In this context, some draft documents were discussed, which are planned to be signed shortly to improve the legal framework, as well as expand cooperation mechanisms.
