An event marking the third anniversary of Azerbaijan’s Victory in the Patriotic War has been held at the headquarters of the Benelux Azerbaijanis Congress (BAK), and the Qarabag Sport Club, operating in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The participants watched the film "We" dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Congress of Benelux Azerbaijanis Elsever Mammadov highlighted the heroism demonstrated by the Azerbaijan Army under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, as well as the bravery and unity of the Azerbaijani people during the Patriotic War, reunification with Karabakh, and the Return to the Western Azerbaijan Concept. He also spoke about the prospects of a peaceful return to the Western Azerbaijan.
The participants of the event congratulated Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis living abroad on November 8 - Victory Day.
Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Netherlands Solidarity Society Niyazi Amikishizade also highlighted the bravery of the Azerbaijani people and soldiers in both Karabakh wars, as well as his brother, who was martyred in the First Karabakh war.
Following the event, Azerbaijanis living in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and members of the fraternal Turkish community discussed plans for the future.
