The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Malaysia has organized an event on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of Azerbaijan’s Victory in the Patriotic War.

The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions, as well as communities of Azerbaijan and Türkiye in Malaysia.

Addressing the event, Azerbaijani ambassador to Malaysia Irfan Davudov emphasized that the architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijan, National Leader Heydar Aliyev saved the country in the most difficult moments from collapse and put the country on the path of progress. According to him, President Ilham Aliyev’s successfully continuing the Heydar Aliyev's wise policy today resulted in Azerbaijan taking its rightful place in the international arena.

The diplomat also touched upon Azerbaijan`s strong Armed Forces and their equipping with most modern and high-tech weapons.

Highlighting Azerbaijan`s glorious Victory in the Patriotic War under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Turkish Ambassador to Malaysia Emir Salim Yüksel pointed out that “Türkiye always stands by Azerbaijan”. The Turkish diplomat underlined that the two fraternal countries look forward to a future as a nation with the strength they get from this friendship and brotherhood.
