Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
The conversation revolved around the current prospects of bilateral cooperation agenda, normalization and peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the current situation in the region.
They stressed the importance of continuing efforts towards ensuring peace and stability in the region, establishing lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia based on equality and mutual respect, and not missing the historic opportunity that has emerged in the region today.
During the telephone conversation, the ministers also exchanged views on other regional and international issues of mutual interest.
