“Pakistan considers Azerbaijan a brotherly Muslim country. We support Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty. Pakistan was one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan's independence. Relations between our countries are improving every day. We also fully endorse Azerbaijan's stance on the issue of Karabakh,” senator of Pakistani parliament Nisar Ahmed Khuhro told AZERTAC.
Hailing the development achieved by Azerbaijan in a short period of time, as well as its support to Pakistan in a crisis, the senator said: "I am grateful to Azerbaijan for helping other countries that are struggling with crises. I can highlight Azerbaijan's aid to Pakistan in the import of rice in this context. Both countries consistently support each other's position.”
