The first winners of the Scholarship Program were determined at the second Forum of Azerbaijani Doctors in Germany, the State Committee on Work with Diaspora told AZERTAC.
At the event held at the Azerbaijan Culture Center in Berlin as part of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev", Dr. Narmin Guliyeva, graduate of Azerbaijan Medical University Gulnara Abdullayeva and Azerbaijani student studying in Türkiye Tabriz Mammadli were announced the first winners of the Scholarship program.
The event was attended by the employees of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance, the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units, as well as medical specialists and other guests from about 70 German cities.
The importance of the holding the second forum as part of the centenary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was highlighted at the Forum. It was mentioned that Heydar Aliyev always paid special attention to the issues of education abroad and integration, as well as to diaspora building. A new stage of diaspora building under President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership, Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva’s initiatives towards the promotion of the national values on the world scale were emphasized at the event.
Various presentations and reports were presented at the forum, opinions were exchanged on the scientific achievements of Azerbaijani doctors who hold important positions in the German health care system.
As part of the event, a portrait of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was presented and a commemorative photo was taken.
The participants of the second Forum expressed their gratitude to all who contributed to the organization of the event.
The first Forum of Azerbaijani Doctors in Germany was held on May 5, 2022 in Cologne with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
