On September 14, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had a one-on-one meeting with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe.

Dear Ilham Heydar, I welcome you to Tajikistan. Just recently, we made your state visit to Tajikistan together. I wish you a pleasant time in our country. Thank you for accepting our invitation to participate in the Summit - Central Asian Heads of State Consultative meeting.

President Ilham Aliyev: Emomali Sharipovich, thank you. First of all, I would like to thank you for your invitation to attend this important event as a guest of honor. I appreciate it very much. It is a great honor for me to participate in such an important event, and it is especially nice to be back in the beautiful city of Dushanbe.
