The visit of Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, and senior Ministry officials to Türkiye is ongoing.
As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation met with Haluk Görgün, President of Secretariat of Defense Industries under the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), emphasized that the further expansion of Azerbaijan-Türkiye military cooperation - rooted in friendship, brotherhood, and strategic alliance - is a key priority for the heads of state.
The sides also discussed prospects for military cooperation between the two countries, along with other issues of mutual interest.
