Azerbaijan participated in the International Tea Festival titled “Tea Journey in Asia and the Pacific,” held in Ankara.
The cultural event was hosted at the residence of the Saudi Embassy in Türkiye and attended by Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Zeki Levent Gümrükçü, representatives of diplomatic missions, and high-level officials.
Azerbaijan’s stand, organized by the country’s Embassy in Türkiye and the Azerbaijani Cultural Center, showcased the nation’s traditional tea ceremony customs.
Alongside Azerbaijan, the festival featured stands from Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Australia, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, India, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Iran, Lebanon, and Thailand.
The opening ceremony was followed by performances from music and dance groups representing the participating countries.
