Samples of Azerbaijan's cultural heritage were presented at an exhibition in the city of Blois, France, Report informs.
The event was organized by the University of Tours, with 16 countries participating.
The Azerbaijan stand generated significant interest among visitors.
The Deputy Mayor of Blois and event guests visited the pavilion, where they were introduced to Azerbaijan's national musical instruments, clothing, and cuisine, and were provided with detailed information about ancient Azerbaijani monuments.
During an interactive workshop, guests were shown the art of decorating shekerbura (a sweet pastry in half-moon shape). The workshop was conducted by Narmina Mammadova, an Azerbaijani who lives in Blois
Event participants also tasted Azerbaijani kata (sweet soft bread).
The composition Düşüncə (Reflection) by outstanding Azerbaijani jazz musician and composer Vagif Mustafazada and the Azerbaijani folk song "Lachin" were performed at the event.
