Film about Azerbaijan premieres on Algerian television

The first episode of a four-part documentary about Azerbaijan has aired on "El-Bilad TV," one of Algeria's most popular television channels. The remaining episodes will be broadcast every Friday over the next month.

According to AZERTAC, citing the channel, the 72-minute film explores Azerbaijan's tourism potential, cuisine, natural beauty, national music, carpet-weaving traditions, ancient historical monuments, and rich architectural heritage. The film highlights Baku’s picturesque parks as symbols of the nation’s cultural identity.

The documentary underscores Azerbaijan's vibrant cultural heritage and its rapid development as one of the world's emerging nations. It describes the country as not only possessing breathtaking natural landscapes but also serving as a hub of ancient history and architecture. Iconic landmarks such as the Heydar Aliyev Center, the Old City (Icherisheher), and other architectural masterpieces are showcased through the unique lens of the Algerian production team. The film praises the Heydar Aliyev Center as a modern architectural marvel, symbolizing harmony between art and nature while reflecting the country's progress.

Additionally, the documentary features the stunning natural scenery and culinary traditions of Gabala and Sheki.

AZERTAC’s special correspondent in Egypt, Shikhali Aliyev, notes that Azerbaijan’s architectural monuments embody a blend of tradition and modernity, while the monuments and statues in Baku honor the nation’s historical and cultural luminaries.
