The Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum hosted the presentation of the triptych carpet “Architect of the State. Encyclopedia of One Life,” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

This remarkable artwork, created as part of a joint project between the Ministry of Economy and Azerkhalcha OJSC, stands out for its profound concept and artistic execution. Showcasing immense talent, imagination, and effort, the monumental piece now occupies a deserving place for public admiration.

Minister of Culture Adil Karimli praised the triptych as a continuation of Azerbaijan’s ancient national carpet art traditions. He noted: “This carpet narrates the life and dreams of the Great Leader, encoded in the language of carpets. While it is a new creation, it also preserves our ancient cultural heritage.”

The creators of the masterpiece, Honored Art Worker and Chairman of the Board of Azerkhalcha OJSC Emin Mammadov and Honored Artist Rashad Alakbarov, spoke about the inspiration and effort behind its composition. People’s Artist and Academician Omar Eldarov shared intriguing insights into the historical ties between carpet art, tents, and yurts, dating back to the same era.
