Azerbaijan's Permanent Mission to UNESCO has organized an art exhibition "Sustainable Vision: Art for a Greener Future" at the organization's headquarters, Report informs.
The exhibition's opening ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to UNESCO Elman Abdullayev, UNESCO General Conference President Simona-Mirela Miculescu, Deputy Director-General for Culture Ernesto Ottone Ramirez, and Deputy Director-General for Natural Sciences Lidia Brito.
Heads of missions and ambassadors from several countries were also present at the event.
The Permanent Mission noted that the exhibition, held within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for Green Peace," emphasizes the country's commitment to sustainable development and global solidarity.
The exhibition features works by People's Artist of Azerbaijan Sakit Mammadov, as well as renowned artists Khanlar Asadullayev, Agshin Kazimov, Mahir Gafarov, Nihad Aghazada, Chinara Bakhshiyeva-Jafarova, and Aynur Mammadova, along with young talents Nazila Farzullayeva and Maryam Abdulla. The artists highlighted Azerbaijan's vibrant cultural and natural heritage while advocating for environmental protection.
