Azerbaijan will host the 1st Continental Championship of international chefs, the Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Culinary Specialists Association Farhad Ashurbayli said at the press conference held today, Report informs.
According to him, the main goal is to turn Azerbaijan into a professional culinary space:
"The continental championship will be organized within the framework of the InterFood Azerbaijan 2024 Exhibition. Chefs from Kyrgyzstan, Northern Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Russia, Serbia and Türkiye will compete in the championship. In addition, teams of local chefs will compete in the exhibition. Successful teams of Azerbaijani young chefs will be sent to the international competition."
The InterFood Azerbaijan 2024 Exhibition, where food and agricultural products are displayed, will be held on May 15-17 at the Baku Expo Center.
