The presentation of the book reflecting the life and activities of National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev has been held in Sofia, Bulgaria to mark the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader.

The book was published in Bulgarian as part of cooperation between the Azerbaijani Language and Culture Center at Sofia University and the Union of Bulgarian Writers.

Addressing the ceremony, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Bulgaria Huseyn Huseynov noted that the book was published on the embassy`s initiative and with the support of Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA). The ambassador highlighted the life and activities of Heydar Aliyev - a prominent politician with high leadership abilities and the founder of the modern Azerbaijani state.

The event brought together Bulgarian state figures, well-known politicians, parliament members, public and political figures, art and media representatives, members of the diplomatic corps in this country, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora.
