The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on Armenian citizens not to succumb to the deception of their “Western friends.”
“The West knows how to deceive. I really don’t want the people of Armenia to be deceived again by their supposed Western friends,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on December 6 answering a question from News.ru.
As an example, Zakharova mentioned the supply of military equipment to Armenia from France.
“As for France, these Bastion armored vehicles are illiquid. The people of Armenia are being given a fake by the West. Why is it fake? Because this hodgepodge of military equipment produced in different countries has never contributed to increasing defense capabilities,” she added.
