A landmine explosion in Ulubaba village, Khojali district, injured a civilian, according to a joint statement by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor's Office, and the National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).
The statement said that Imanov Naghi Novruz oglu, born in 1963, suffered a leg injury after stepping on an anti-personnel mine in an uncleared area.
The Khojali district prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the incident.
Authorities urged citizens to follow safety guidelines, observe mine warning signs, and avoid unfamiliar areas.
