Participant in the most prestigious events, Financial Chain Corporation took part in COP29 Azerbaijan Green Zone. The FCHAIN team was led by Valid Huseynov, Deputy General Director of Financial Chain Corporation.

The Conference of the Parties (COP) is the premier global forum of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), dedicated to addressing climate change.

Comprising 198 countries and the European Union, COP is the highest decision-making body on climate issues under the UNFCCC.

The 29th session of COP (COP29) is taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11 to 22, 2024. This two-week global mega-event gathers heads of state, climate experts, political leaders, young people, and civil society actors to collaborate on the urgent challenge of climate change.

The world’s most significant climate conference, COP29, serves as a pivotal platform for negotiating international climate policies, advancing climate action, and fostering global cooperation to achieve a sustainable and resilient future.

The structure of COP29 includes two main zones: a Blue Zone for official negotiations and a Green Zone open to the public, featuring climate-focused exhibits and events. FCHAIN was in the Green Zone with its stand, which attracted the attention of visitors.

It should be noted that Financial Chain Corporation, along with providing quality services, is aware of its responsibility for the environment and the planet and has contributed to the protection of the environment and animals. The company placed more than 200 outdoor shelters, so-called houses for cats, to save them from rain, snow, and cold weather. This activity will have been realized by 2025, and FCHAIN is planning to place about 1,000 outdoor shelters for cats and other animals.

Within the framework of the 2024 Green World Solidarity Year, Financial Chain Corporation, which is always actively involved in social projects and the protection of fauna and flora, has also several times held tree-planting actions, in which hundreds of trees were planted.
