Azerbaijan`s Finance Minister Samir Sharifov met with heads of ministries of finance and international financial institutions from a number of countries participating in COP29.
During the meetings, the participants hailed the high-level organization, Azerbaijan's hospitality and professionalism in hosting COP29. They expressed their confidence that the COP29 negotiations would be successful.
Samir Sharifov also held meetings with Jin Liqun, President and Chair of the Board of Directors of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, Director General of the OPEC Fund for International Development, Hayashi Nobumitsu, Governor Japan Bank for International Cooperation to discuss prospects for cooperation in transport, railway, energy, irrigation, development of the metro network in Baku and other projects.
