Participants of the Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad have made an appeal to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora said, Report informs via AZERTAC.

The appeal reads:

“Dear Mr. President,

Our organization, which unites Azerbaijani scientists residing and working in various countries, has always closely followed the progress of our homeland. We are deeply pleased with the achievements of our state and people, who have attained a remarkable victory. Despite working abroad, we are constantly reminded of the great words of National Leader Heydar Aliyev: ‘Every corner of Azerbaijan’s land is dear to every Azerbaijani.’ The primary objective of the World Union of Azerbaijani Scientists, which gathers researchers from different fields globally, is to support the development of our homeland.

Today, on the final day of the Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad, we are honored to convey to you and the whole world that while in Karabakh, the sacred land of Azerbaijan that has been liberated from occupation, we feel incredibly happy and proud of our victorious nation and its Victorious Commander-in-Chief, the defender and savior of our Motherland. We always remember the sacrifices made by our people in the struggle for the liberation of every inch of our land. We pray for God's mercy on our martyrs and wish good health to our ghazis.

As Azerbaijani scientists abroad, we assure you, and through you, all the people of Azerbaijan, that we will work diligently on the preparation and implementation of the strategic plans for our Motherland in the fields of science and technology, energy, education, health, sociology, and culture.

We are always grateful to you, Mr. President and Commander-in-Chief of our glorious Armed Forces, for leading our people to victory, restoring the territorial integrity of our country, and fully ensuring the sovereignty of our homeland.

We express our confidence that under your wise and visionary leadership, Azerbaijan will achieve greater success in political, economic, scientific, and cultural areas in the future. We declare that we are ready to contribute to our overall progress. We believe that our intellectuals, who possess advanced scientific knowledge and extensive experience, sincerely love our Motherland and always support your political line, will become your helpers in great affairs of national significance.

Today, each of us in Khankendi repeats the immortal words of the National Leader with great pride: ‘I am proud to be an Azerbaijani. I am proud that Azerbaijan is my native land. I am proud to have such a nation!’”
