Climate change cannot be tackled by a single country, according to Professor Francesco Corvaro, the Italian government representative on climate issues.

Speaking at the High-Level Dialogue: Advancing Climate Transparency through Universal Participation in the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF), Professor Corvaro emphasized the significance of the upcoming COP29 conference.

"In the coming years, we will address the financial issues in the fight against climate change. We see conflicts between countries, but we can also discuss the fight against climate change around a table. This battle cannot be fought by a single country alone," he stated.

Corvaro highlighted the crucial link between climate and peace, urging nations to keep this connection in mind.

"By working together, we can create a biennial transparency report," he suggested.
