Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden, Zaur Ahmadov, held an online meeting with Morten Høglund, Chair of the Senior Arctic Officials for the Arctic Council and Norway’s Ambassador for the Arctic.
During the meeting, Morten Høglund expressed Norway’s willingness to assist Azerbaijan in its preparations for and hosting of the upcoming 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
The meeting also saw discussions about the possible mutual interaction between the two countries with respect to this prestigious international event.
