Former internally displaced person from Lachin: 'President Ilham Aliyev returned us to our native land'
"My husband and I were forced to leave Lachin. Our children grew up and received an education here in Baku," Khadija Ahmadova, a former internally displaced person from the Lachin district, told Report.
"I wish our President Ilham Aliyev good health, he gave us the opportunity to return to our hometown.
She noted that she was filled with feelings of joy and excitement over their return home.
"Azerbaijan is our Motherland. But everyone loves the place where they were born and raised in their own way. I wish from the Almighty the peace to the souls of the martyrs, good health to the veterans. It was they who, under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, liberated our lands," Ahmadova said.
Another migration caravan set off from the Gobu Park 3 residential complex in the Garadagh district of Baku to Lachin.
