`By 2040, 50,000 residents will be resettled in Fuzuli city`

“About 3,500 Fuzuli residents are expected to return to the city by the end of this year. After liberation from occupation, Fuzuli has been rebuilt and restored over the past 3 years. About 1,000 residents live in the city of Fuzuli. By 2040, 50 thousand of Azerbaijani citizens will be resettled in Fuzuli,” member of the Milli Majlis Vugar Bayramov told AZERTAC regional correspondent.

"Today is a great day, the day of liberation of Fuzuli from occupation."Fuzuli City Day" is celebrated by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev," Bayramov underlined.

He emphasized that the policy implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev enables the restoration of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur more intensively and in a shorter time. "Acceleration of the settlement process is an indicator of this," Vugar Bayramov added.
