Azerbaijan, Israel explore economic cooperation
A delegation of Azerbaijan, led by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, has embarked on a working visit to Israel.
The visit includes meetings with Israeli officials aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting with Zeev Elkin, Israel’s Minister of Finance and Co-Chairman of the Azerbaijan–Israel Joint Intergovernmental Commission, the sides exchanged views on the Commission’s activities, prospects for enhancing bilateral economic relations, and the effective realization of existing business partnership potential.
At the meeting with Gideon Sa'ar, Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the enhancement of bilateral relations, as well as economic and trade ties between the two countries, was hailed. The officials discussed expanding economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel and assessed the prospects of joint projects with strategic significance for both countries and the wider region.
The meeting also highlighted Azerbaijan’s favorable geo-economic location and its growing transit potential in global trade.
