According to a report by S&P Global Commodity Insights, citing data from Platts, Azerbaijan's daily oil production in May 2024 stood at 470,000 barrels. This figure falls short of the country's OPEC+ quota for 2024, which is set at 551,000 barrels per day (b/d), according to Report.
Azerbaijan's actual oil output in May was 81,000 b/d below its allocated OPEC+ quota.
Furthermore, the data reveals a month-on-month decline in Azerbaijan's oil production. Compared to April, the country's oil output decreased by 10,000 b/d in May.
