President of Azerbaijan’s state oil company (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf and Chairman of the Board of Gazprom PJSC Alexey Miller have discussed the situation on the global energy market on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Report informs referring to the Russian company.
“The parties reviewed the progress and prospects of cooperation in the gas sector. Special attention was paid to the situation on the global energy market,” Gazprom noted.
This is the third meeting of company leaders since the beginning of 2024; the previous contact was on April 26. Throughout 2023, Miller and Najaf met three times.
