Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), met Friday with Alim Bayel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the two hailed successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in all areas, including the energy sector, as well as the dynamic development of relations between SOCAR and Kazakh companies.
They also looked in to the current state of cooperation between SOCAR and KazMunayGaz, the transit of Kazakh oil through the territory of Azerbaijan, opportunities for cooperation in production projects and other issues of mutual interest.
