Romans Naudins: Latvia interested in agricultural cooperation with Azerbaijan

Latvia is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of agriculture, which does not exclude the creation of joint ventures in Azerbaijan, Advisor to the Ministry of Agriculture of Latvia Romans Naudins said at the Azerbaijani-Latvian business forum in Baku, according to Report.

"This will allow other countries, including Latvia, to consider Azerbaijan as a development center and will allow Latvian companies to intensify business in this country. At the same time, we offer Azerbaijani companies to develop activities in Latvia. For enterprises that are created in Latvia, there is the opportunity to use funds assets of the European fund, and export manufactured products to the European Union," he said.

Naudins also congratulated Azerbaijan on the restoration of territorial integrity and liberation of territories, calling it a great geopolitical success.

According to Naudins, the Speaker of the Latvian Parliament Daiga Mierina will visit Baku one of these days, and she considers relations with Azerbaijan a priority.

"We believe that this visit will also help strengthen relations between our countries," Naudins said.
