Georgian FM: Joint energy projects increase region’s importance

Joint transport and energy projects of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye are increasing the importance of the region, Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said at a press conference following the 9th trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of the three countries in Baku, Report informs.

“Today we discussed common transport and energy projects. These projects increase the importance of our region, they ensure the energy security of Europe. In addition, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline and the Southern Gas Corridor projects are successfully functioning,” he noted.
