Azerbaijan`s Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov has met with Belarusian Ambassador Andrei Ravkov.

Majnun Mammadov emphasized Azerbaijan`s strong support for the agricultural sector and hailed the dynamic development of cooperation between the two countries across various domains.

The sides expressed their interest in expanding cooperation in the agricultural field.

During the meeting, the two also discussed issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus in the field of agriculture, fostering the legal framework, increasing the trade turnover of agricultural and food products, transferring up-to-date technologies in the field of agriculture, implementing scientific research in the agrarian sector and exchanging programs in the education area.

They also explored the activities of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Working Group in the field of agriculture and food security.

The parties also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
