The delegation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) attended the Launch of the ESCAP-UNECE Programme on Energy Connectivity in Central Asia and the Caucasus held in Geneva, Switzerland on Friday.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS Omar Kocaman provided an overview of the Organization's energy cooperation activities, emphasizing the growing role of the OTS in the region.
He expressed the OTS's readiness to collaborate in the energy sector with UN ESCAP, UNECE, and other international partners to achieve energy connectivity in Central Asia and the Caucasus, including Türkiye.
On the sidelines of the Programme, the OTS delegation will hold a technical meeting with the Sustainable Energy Division of the UNECE.
