Azerbaijan has successfully tested a communication system in emergency forecasting, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Space Agency (Azercosmos) Fuad Aslanov said at the GSMA M360 Eurasia 2024 international conference in Baku, Report informs.
“The space agency has been working for two years to create an emergency communication system. We have successful experiments in this matter,” he said.
Aslanov noted that a large number of people use applications related to satellite technologies:
“We use satellite communications a lot in agriculture, the oil and gas industry, and logistics. These technologies are used to increase productivity in agriculture. This trend will continue to grow. After all, states and governments invest huge amounts of money in both agricultural and infrastructure projects.”
