Formula One fever will hit Singapore this weekend as the Round 16 is set to be held in Marina Bay on Sunday, Anadolu Agency reports.

The 62-lap Singapore Grand Prix will be run on the 4.94-kilometer (3.06-mile) Marina Bay Street Circuit.

A day before the Sunday's Grand Prix, a qualifying phase will take place.

Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen, back-to-back F1 champion, is in an extraordinary season as the Dutch driver won 12 races including 10 in a row.

In the previous round in Italy's Monza, Verstappen, 25, claimed his 10th consecutive win to eclipse the record set in 2013 by Germany's Sebastian Vettel.

Red Bull Racing is spending a perfect season this year thanks to Verstappen's dominance.

His teammate Sergio Perez had a little help as the Mexican national won two races for Red Bull; the Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan Grands Prix in the 2023 spring.

In May, F1 canceled the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the season's sixth race, due to flooding in northern Italy.

Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix will start at 1200GMT.
