Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group (BIG) Abbas Abbasov held a presentation on the organization's activities.
According to Report, the presentation took place during the conference "French and Dutch Colonialism in Saint Martin - One Island, One People, One Destiny."
Abbasov noted that BIG provides support to regions under the oppression of colonial policy. He spoke about the organization's successes and implemented projects, and also reminded that the initiative group signed three memoranda with Bonaire, Mayotte, and French Polynesia.
According to Abbasov, BIG has held more than 20 international events dedicated to neocolonialism and its consequences. He also emphasized that joint efforts and cooperation will help colonized peoples gain independence.
