Holcim Azerbaijan proudly introduced the Binacycle brand at the Rebuild Karabah exhibition, highlighting its commitment to promoting circular construction practices and sustainable building solutions.
The Binacycle initiative, developed in collaboration with AZCD Group, aims to recycle construction and demolition waste into high-quality building materials. Currently operational in the Aghdam region, the project focuses on recycling the remains of buildings destroyed during the occupation in liberated areas. By utilizing advanced crushing equipment, Binacycle plans to reuse these materials as sublayers for local road construction, aligning with the country’s commitment to the "Green Growth Concept." Through these innovative recycling processes, Binacycle transforms waste that would typically end up in landfills into valuable resources for infrastructure projects.
Rashad Osmanov, head of Binacycle, stated, “With the Binacycle brand, we are setting a new standard for sustainability in the construction industry. Our goal is to turn waste into valuable resources, fostering a circular economy that benefits both the environment and communities. This project will position Azerbaijan as a champion of the 'Green Growth Concept' in the region, both ecologically and economically.”
At the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the Binacycle initiative, with a focus on how it can contribute to building smarter and more sustainable cities in Karabakh.
